Erica established Erica’s Hair Boutique in 1999 at the promptings of her husband who had a vision for her.

“I did my first haircut at the age of 12 and had no idea that it would become my path. I wasn’t accepted to study wildlife conservation and went to Pretoria for in-service hairdressing training. I met my future husband there and after a year of marriage, we moved to Cape Town in 1996 where I worked in the same office as him.”
“After my firstborn baby girl turned one, I started working in a salon. Just one year later, we took the big decision to make the salon our own!”
